Great coffee roaster with variety of beans (about 10 or so), ground and packaged to order for any coffee maker. Also sells pretty much most coffee making apparati possible. Great selection of chocolates, cookies and seasonal sweets from Europe - Great for presents. Also makes coffee for take away. Not a place to sit down, but a delightful little boutique with great service nevertheless.

When I lived in double bay I was a regular here for my morning coffee and beans to take home. As others have mentioned, it’s proper service, first name terms with the regulars “the usual today?” and the freshest possible beans roasted right there in store. Prices are very reasonable and the owners are experts at their craft. This is most certainly a small business worth supporting who make some of the best coffee in Sydney.

You know you're going to get great coffee when you walk in and see a drum roaster, a master at work, and plenty of coffee apparatus inside. It's refreshing to find somewhere that focuses less on aesthetics and trendiness and more on producing quality products and friendly, efficient service. A true gem!

I can't rate this place highly enough. I don't think I've ever been in a coffee shop that has a better atmosphere. You walk in and are immediately included in the conversation that's going on at the time between the owners and the clientele waiting / being served. You walk out feeling like you were part of something special. Oh, and the coffee is fantastic

Spent most of my life as a local, and as a coffee addict. Having travelled far and wide this remains one of Sydney’s, and by extension, the world’s best coffee stops. Freshly roasted varieties on offer with all the coffee accessories, European sweets, and designer glasses to stock up on - this is a slice of old Europe blended with a generous helping of Aussie hospitality courtesy of the legend husband and wife team that run the joint, with just a hipster edge of discerning taste and minimalism. This isn’t a sit down place though, get a takeaway, admire the set up and have a yarn with the owners and head for a walk around the gorgeous shops and beachfront in the area instead. 10/10 and a must visit if you’re a coffee person and in the area.
